These molds can be extracted while the coil windings are still hot and with the application of limited force. This result has been made possible thanks to a high level of mechanical precision applied during the construction of these elements and a special non-stick treatment developed by Silmek. The molds are made of steel with a high level of elasticity modulus and hardness. Additionally, the technique allows for the use of thin layers, leading to final results in which the obtained cylinders are significantly lighter.
