The LV 1000 winding machine is designed and built for low-voltage windings in aluminum and copper foil with a maximum height of 1000 mm for distribution transformers. We customize it according to the customer's technical specifications, allowing them to obtain the desired machine in terms of sheet width and overall dimensions. With an electronic alignment and tensioning system, high-quality windings are achieved even if they are not round.

Within a limited space, this system provides a solution for the installation of 3 rollers tensioned by an ingenious braking system.


Innovative expander

The technique adopted by SILMEK makes it possible to obtain significant diameter variations, ensuring a high level of mechanical precision.
The 'basic' expander that we propose has a minimum diameter of 140 mm and a maximum diameter of 250 mm. With the application of wooden slats, it is possible to increase the diameter of the expander up to a value of 480 mm.
